Avocado Toast with Egg

Ingredients: 

     ✪ 2 slices of whole-grain bread
     ✪ 1 ripe avocado
     ✪ 1 large egg
     ✪ Salt (to taste)
     ✪ Pepper (to taste)
     ✪ Red chili flakes (to taste)
     ✪ Olive oil (optional, for frying the egg)

Instructions: 

     1. Toast the Bread: Toast the slices of whole-grain bread until golden brown and crispy.

     2. Prepare the Avocado: While the bread is toasting, cut the ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash it with a fork, adding salt and pepper to taste.

     3. Cook the Egg: In a skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Crack the egg into the skillet and cook to your desired doneness (fried or poached).

     4. Assemble the Toast: Spread the mashed avocado generously over each slice of toasted bread.

     5. Add the Egg: Place the cooked egg on top of the avocado spread.

     6. Season and Serve: Sprinkle with red chili flakes for a bit of heat, and additional salt and pepper if desired. Serve immediately.
